One Dead and 25 Injured in Kharkiv Region Due to Russian Strikes

In a tragic turn of events, a 65-year-old man has lost his life and 25 others have been injured in the Kharkiv region following a series of Russian attacks, as reported by Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

According to information provided by Ukrinform, Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, reported the tragic consequences of the shelling that occurred yesterday in a Facebook post. As a result of Russian attacks in the Kharkiv region, a 65-year-old man was killed, and the total number of injured individuals reached 25.

In the city of Kharkiv, 11 people were injured, including women aged 61, 52, and 63, as well as men aged 53 and 64, who experienced acute stress reactions. Among the injured were also women aged 74, 28, 18, and 62, a one-month-old boy, and an eight-year-old girl, highlighting that enemy strikes do not spare even the youngest.

In the village of Polova, which belongs to the Solonytsivka community, a 65-year-old man was killed, and men aged 64 and 85, women aged 32, 66, 61, and 49, as well as a 12-year-old boy were injured. In the village of Lymanivka, part of the Lozova community, cases of acute stress reactions were recorded in girls aged 13 and 14, as well as in a 14-year-old boy. In the village of Korotych, which is part of the Pishchany community, injuries were reported among teenagers aged 16 and 17. In the city of Barvinkove, a 41-year-old woman was injured, also suffering from acute stress reactions, while in the village of Berezivka, a 41-year-old man sustained injuries.

Additionally, medical assistance was provided to a 64-year-old man who was injured in the village of Lisna Stinka in the Kurylivka community back on April 1. This underscores the ongoing threat to the population due to military actions in the region.

The enemy attacked Kharkiv with rockets and drones, targeting the Kyiv, Saltiv, Shevchenkiv, Osnovyansky, and Novobavarsky districts. Specifically, Russian forces used four rockets, the type of which is currently being determined, four guided aerial bombs, 30 Geran-2 type drones, 11 Molniya type drones, six FPV drones, and 44 drones, the type of which is also being established.

As a result of these attacks, three apartment buildings, four private houses, three civilian enterprises, an educational institution, a store, park infrastructure, and 90 vehicles were damaged. In the Bohodukhiv district, particularly in the village of Odnorobivka, a private house, electrical networks, and an outbuilding were damaged. In the village of Klynova-Novoselivka, two two-story apartment buildings, a private house, and an outbuilding were damaged. In the village of Zolochiv, a vehicle was damaged, and in the village of Semeniv Yar, an agricultural enterprise and electrical networks were affected. A private house was also damaged in the village of Lyutivka.

In the Kupiansk district, four private houses, an administrative building, a store, and two outbuildings were damaged in the village of Shypuvate, while a private house was damaged in the village of Blahodativka. In the Izium district, four private houses were reported damaged in the city of Barvinkove. In the Kharkiv district, a private house was damaged in the village of Ruska Lozova, a vehicle in the village of Khroly, a shopping center, a private house, and a civilian enterprise in the city of Derhachi, and another private house in the village of Bezruky. In the village of Kozacha Lopan, three private houses were damaged, in the village of Polva, two private houses and a paramedic station were affected, and in the village of Berezivka, yet another private house was damaged.

It is worth noting that the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 251 people in one day, with a total of 26,371 registered individuals since the point began operations. This indicates that despite the danger, people continue to seek safe places to live.

Recall that in Kharkiv, as a result of Russian attacks on the night of April 3, five people were injured, including an infant. The situation in the region remains tense, and local residents continue to suffer from the consequences of military actions.
