The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has expressed its position regarding the tragic murder of a serviceman from the Territorial Recruitment Center in Lviv, emphasizing that anyone who commits murder against a military personnel, whether at the front or in the rear, is responsible for their actions and acts against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has taken a firm stance following the tragic incident involving the murder of a serviceman from the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) in Lviv. The ministry emphasized that no individual who commits murder against a military personnel, whether on the front lines or in the rear, can escape accountability for their actions, as such acts are fundamentally against the interests of Ukraine.

In a statement published on its official Telegram channel, the Ministry remarked: "The mobilization system requires changes, and these will be implemented in the near future. However, no problem within the system can justify murder." These words underscore the gravity of the situation and the urgent need for reforms within the existing mobilization mechanisms.

The ministry also extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased serviceman, stressing that the perpetrator will face inevitable punishment. This statement reflects the government's determination to combat offenses related to military personnel, especially in the context of ongoing warfare.

The incident, which occurred on April 2 at approximately 14:15, sparked widespread public outcry. Reports received on the special hotline 102 indicated that an unknown man had stabbed a serviceman in the neck during notification activities on Paton Street in Lviv. As a result of the injuries sustained, the victim was transported to a hospital where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his wounds.

Following operational measures, law enforcement authorities apprehended the suspect in the murder. It was revealed that the detainee is an employee of the Lviv Customs Office. This information was confirmed by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, raising additional questions regarding the safety and accountability of personnel within government institutions.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the critical importance of ensuring the safety of servicemen who are fulfilling their duties, even in the rear. The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that actions such as the murder of a serviceman are unacceptable and must be punished according to the law.

In the context of the current situation in Ukraine, where war continues to rage, it is vital for all citizens to recognize their responsibilities towards the state and its defenders. The authorities are calling for unity and support for the army, as the future of the country hinges on these efforts.

Thus, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is not only responding to tragic events but is also initiating changes in the mobilization system, demonstrating a readiness for reform and improvement of conditions for servicemen. This represents an important step towards ensuring security and stability within the country.
