Ministry of Youth and Sports to Launch 'Sport Booking', 'Digital Sport', and AI Anti-Doping Assistant This Fall – Bidny

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, led by Minister Matviy Bidny, is set to introduce several new digital applications this fall, including 'Sport Booking' and 'Digital Sport', along with an AI assistant to aid athletes in anti-doping matters.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, under the leadership of Minister Matviy Bidny, is gearing up to launch several innovative digital applications in the upcoming fall season. Among these applications are 'Sport Booking' and 'Digital Sport', as well as an AI assistant designed to assist athletes with anti-doping issues. These initiatives aim to significantly simplify access to sports infrastructure, marking a crucial step in the development of Ukrainian sports.

During a press conference titled 'The Future of Ukrainian Sports', held on Thursday in Kyiv, Minister Bidny emphasized that the 'Sport Booking' program has already garnered support from international partners, including Mastercard. According to him, this application will enable users to view available sports facilities, such as basketball arenas, select convenient locations, book them, and make payments online. 'We are currently working on the 'Sport Booking' program to further simplify access to sports infrastructure. We already have international partners – Mastercard is ready to develop this application for us,' Bidny highlighted.

He also pointed out that the implementation of this project will allow sports facilities to receive funds into a special account, which can be reinvested into the development of the facilities themselves. This, in turn, will create new opportunities for sports clubs and communities, enabling them to gain easier access to such facilities. The 'Sport Booking' application is expected to be launched in November 2026, after which users will be able to utilize features for searching and booking times.

In addition to 'Sport Booking', the Ministry of Youth and Sports plans to launch the 'Digital Sport' application in September 2026. This application will integrate information from all departmental digital information systems and registries, allowing users to access up-to-date data on sports events and infrastructure.

Regarding the AI assistant for anti-doping matters, its purpose is to help athletes understand anti-doping norms and practices. This will become an essential tool for raising athletes' awareness of the rules and requirements related to doping, which, in turn, will promote the development of clean sports in Ukraine.

It is worth noting that on April 9, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine presented a vision for creating a comprehensive ecosystem that integrates the European model of sports, education, and science, along with modern sports infrastructure. This ecosystem includes a club system, autonomy for federations, and an Olympic Lab aimed at enhancing the quality of sports life in the country and encouraging youth to adopt an active lifestyle.
