Ministry of Defense: 'Operational Reserve' Mark in Reserve+ is Not an Update – It Was Previously Displayed in the System

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has clarified the appearance of the 'operational reserve' mark in the 'Reserve+' application, stating that it is not related to any updates to the program.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has provided explanations regarding the emergence of the 'operational reserve' designation in the 'Reserve+' application, emphasizing that this is not connected to any updates to the program. According to the information management department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, this designation was already present in the system previously.

The ministry highlighted that citizens who have completed their mandatory military service, as well as those who fall under other legally defined categories, may be classified as part of the operational reserve. Currently, this pertains to a relatively small number of individuals, and this category is not considered widespread. This important clarification helps to understand that the changes in the system are not extensive and do not affect a large number of people.

The Ministry of Defense also noted that no new functions have been introduced in this regard, and the existing rules for reserving remain governed by the relevant regulatory acts. This means that citizens can use the system without fear of new restrictions or changes in rules that could impact their status.

In case of questions regarding their status in 'Reserve+' and its accuracy, the Ministry of Defense recommends that citizens contact the support service through the application menu. There, specialists are ready to help verify specific situations and provide necessary explanations. This indicates the ministry's openness to communication with citizens and its readiness to assist in resolving issues related to their status.

Earlier, media reports surfaced indicating that a new update in the 'Reserve+' application introduced the 'operational reserve' status. The presence of this status effectively prevents individuals from receiving exemptions from mobilization for work at critically important enterprises. However, it has become clear that this is not a new feature but merely a confirmation that this status already existed in the system.

Thus, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has dispelled rumors about innovations in the 'Reserve+' system and confirmed that all changes concerning citizens' statuses are regulated by existing norms. This helps to avoid misunderstandings and ensures transparency in matters of mobilization and reserving, which are extremely important in the face of contemporary challenges.
