Meta Unveils Its Most Powerful AI Model, Integrates It into Its Chatbot

American technology company Meta, renowned for its innovative developments in the field of artificial intelligence, has announced the launch of its new model, Muse Spark. This model is the most powerful among all that have ever been created by Meta and is the first development produced under the newly established Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), founded last year. According to company representatives, the primary goal of the lab is to create what is known as superintelligence—a system of artificial intelligence that surpasses the capabilities of the human brain.

Meta is actively working on developing even more powerful models and plans to create a whole series of models under the name Muse. In its statement, the company noted, "We are on the path to personal superintelligence—an assistant that can help everyone, everywhere, with their most important tasks." Muse Spark is described as a "natively multimodal reasoning model with support for tool use, visual reasoning chains, and multi-agent orchestration."

The Muse Spark model has already been integrated into Meta's solutions and is embedded in the Meta AI chatbot, available both in the app and on the website. In the coming weeks, the company plans to implement this model into popular platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, as well as into new AI glasses. Meta hopes that this integration will make the chatbot smarter and faster, as well as enable new features such as quoting recommendations and content from Instagram, Facebook, and Threads users.

With the implementation of the new model, Meta AI has already demonstrated improved results in responding to health-related inquiries, highlighting significant progress in the company's artificial intelligence development. For a number of partners, Meta is organizing a private preview of Muse Spark through an application programming interface (API). It is important to note that unlike previous models, Muse Spark has a closed source code, although the release of some open-source versions may be possible in the future.

According to internal testing results, Muse Spark has shown impressive results, outperforming well-known models such as Google's Gemini on several metrics. By other criteria, it can be compared to models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Furthermore, Muse Spark significantly surpassed many metrics of Grok, developed by Elon Musk's xAI. This indicates that Meta continues to remain at the forefront of artificial intelligence technology, implementing new solutions that could fundamentally change the way users interact with digital platforms.
