Ukrainian singer Melovin has revealed that his family home sustained significant damage from a shelling attack in Odesa on April 6, which was carried out by Russian forces using kamikaze drones.

Ukrainian singer Melovin, a prominent artist in the country, has reported that his family home suffered extensive damage as a result of a shelling attack in Odesa that occurred on April 6. The assault, executed by Russian troops utilizing kamikaze drones, has led to tragic consequences for local residents.

In a post on his Telegram channel, Melovin shared a video showcasing the aftermath of this horrific attack and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. The artist noted that while his family home was left without windows, all members of his family survived the incident. 'My family home in Odesa has also been damaged, remaining without windows. Everyone is alive. Sending hugs to all,' Melovin wrote in his post.

According to information provided by the head of the city military administration, Serhiy Lysak, three people lost their lives as a result of the Russian attack by Shahed drones in the early hours of Monday, April 6, including a child. Additionally, ten individuals sustained injuries, with Lysak reporting that two of the injured are in serious condition, while eight are in moderate condition. Among the injured are a two-year-old child and teenagers aged 17 and 18.

The head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, also commented on the situation, highlighting that the attack caused damage to critical infrastructure and administrative buildings. Fires broke out in the private sector, a dormitory, and on the grounds of a children's institution. Kiper stated that rescuers managed to save four individuals and added that emergency rescue operations are ongoing. He emphasized that there may still be people trapped under the rubble, making the situation tense.

As a result of the attack, approximately 16,000 residents of Odesa were left without electricity. However, energy workers have already managed to restore power to nearly three thousand families, which is a positive development amid the overall tragedy.

This incident once again underscores the importance of support and solidarity during this challenging time for Ukraine. Melovin, like many other Ukrainians, is experiencing difficult times but continues to stand by his country and its people in these trying moments.
