Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Oil Depot in Feodosia, Destroying Key Military Assets

Between April 5 and 7, 2023, Ukrainian drone forces launched a significant attack on an oil terminal located in the occupied city of Feodosia on the Crimean Peninsula, resulting in the destruction of several critical enemy military assets.

During the period from April 5 to 7, 2023, the Ukrainian drone forces executed a powerful strike against an oil terminal situated in the occupied city of Feodosia, located on the Crimean Peninsula. This operation was part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to dismantle military infrastructure belonging to the adversary. According to the commander of the drone forces, Robert 'Madyar' Brovda, the attack resulted in the destruction of several important surface-to-air missile systems, including the 'Buk-M3' and 'Tor-M2', as well as the radar system 'Zoo-1M'.

Commander Madyar provided detailed insights into how the Ukrainian drones, belonging to the 9th Battalion 'Kairós' of the 414th Separate Brigade 'Madyar's Birds', carried out this operation. He emphasized that the 'scorching of weeds around the fuel tanks at the 'Marine Oil Terminal' in Feodosia' was made possible through the coordinated efforts of Ukrainian drones. Madyar also released video footage confirming the successful strike on the oil depot and the destruction of the aforementioned missile systems.

In his statement, Madyar reported that the strike also impacted numerous logistics supply depots in Sukhodilsk, located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast. Additionally, drone storage facilities and a pre-flight training point for drones in Stepne, situated in the occupied Donetsk Oblast, were destroyed. This indicates that Ukrainian forces are actively continuing to dismantle enemy infrastructure that is strategically significant for military operations.

The background of these events reveals that Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously targeted the oil depot in annexed Feodosia, highlighting the importance of this location for Russian military operations. Furthermore, it is worth noting that during an attack on Novorossiysk on the night of April 6, Ukrainian drones struck the frigate 'Admiral Makarov', which serves as a carrier for 'Kalibr' cruise missiles. These actions reflect the increasing effectiveness of Ukrainian drone systems in eliminating enemy military assets, thereby enhancing Ukraine's defensive capabilities and its operational effectiveness in combat.

Thus, the Ukrainian drone forces continue to demonstrate their ability to inflict significant losses on the enemy, destroying not only military equipment but also critically important infrastructure that supports Russian military operations in the region. This strategy is part of a broader campaign by Ukraine aimed at regaining control over its territories and protecting its national interests.
