April Delights Foodies, Wine Lovers, and Coffee Enthusiasts with Exciting Events
April brings joy to foodies, wine lovers, and coffee enthusiasts with a series of exciting events taking place across Ukraine, marking the perfect opportunity to indulge in new gastronomic experiences after a long winter.
This year, April is particularly rich in events — from the premieres of new Ukrainian wines to practical gastro-conferences, from charity tastings to large Easter markets. These events not only help attendees understand the nuances of flavors but also allow them to discover new products and goods, diversify their recipes, and possibly change their personal approach to cooking. We have compiled a list of events that are not only worth attending but also living as experiences — complete with tastings, discussions, and new discoveries.
As spring is a time for new beginnings, the capital will host the Wine&Spirits Premiere — the first showcase of wines for the new season. In a circular tasting format, Ukrainian producers will present their new releases for 2025. This unique opportunity allows winemakers to showcase their innovations and shape demand for the season. The competition for the best wines in Ukraine is incredibly high, and it is at this event that trends for the upcoming season are formed. Entry to the event is only possible with prior registration.
Additionally, the Ukrainian wine brand Leleka Wines invites everyone to enjoy gastronomic flavors while participating in a charitable initiative to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. LELÉKA, the Leleka Foundation Ukraine, and Leleka Wines are joining forces to help medics on the front lines save lives. The main goal is to raise 2,000,000 UAH for medical backpacks for the Defense Forces. The charity tasting program will feature nine wines: Brut, Sukholimansky, Sukholimansky Reserve Acacia (pre-release), Rosé Dry, Chardonnay Reserva, Golubok, Odesa Black, Odesa Black Rosé, and semi-dry sparkling wine. The tasting will be conducted by experienced sommelier Bohdan Panchuk, who has 25 years of experience, and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the fundraising effort. Tickets for the event can be purchased through the provided link.
The event will take place at: 5 Hetmana Pavla Skoropadskogo Street.
A practical gastro-conference will also be held, dedicated to creating and selling the experience of flavor combinations, complete with tastings and masterclasses. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to pair products and beverages to create food pairings in their own kitchens. Invited speakers will share their experiences, winning combinations, and gastronomic ideas. The program of the event and ticket purchasing options can be found through the provided link.
The venue is located at: 15 Brovarsky Avenue, International Exhibition Center.
At the Easter market, attendees can expect a plethora of decorations — from wreaths to towels — as well as the chance to taste Easter cakes, farm cheeses, meats, wines, and liqueurs. For the festive table, honey, jams, and natural sauces will be available, along with interesting candles and ceramics to adorn the table. All products are sourced from Ukrainian producers. The market will also feature embroidered shirts, dresses, and accessories to complete your festive look. Admission is free, and the market will operate for two days from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
An exciting event is also anticipated for tea lovers and coffee enthusiasts. Here, you will find coffee, tea, syrups, milk, signature desserts, exquisite treats, and equipment for preparing beverages. You will have the opportunity to engage directly with suppliers, manufacturers, and brand representatives from the industry, discover new trends, and taste products that interest you.
