On Sunday, April 5, the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraine' was the site of an unforgettable concert dedicated to the memory of the illustrious composer and singer Mykola Mozhovyi, aptly named 'Mozhovyi. The Best'. The event showcased a remarkable gathering of both well-known artists and emerging talents, many of whom were performing at this esteemed venue for the very first time.

The concert was hosted by Olena Mozhova, the daughter of the composer, who emphasized that her father's songs continue to resonate in the hearts of people. She noted that these timeless melodies are performed by both young and established artists, true 'stars' of the Ukrainian pop scene. This highlights the enduring relevance of Mykola Mozhovyi's work, which continues to inspire new generations of performers.

The evening commenced with a captivating performance by pianist Yevhen Khmara, who skillfully blended melodies from various songs by Mykola Mozhovyi into a single composition. His performance set an uplifting tone for the entire event, which lasted approximately three hours and amazed the audience with its diverse array of performances.

Among the artists who graced the stage to perform the legendary composer's songs were popular performers such as Tayanna, Tarabarova, Fiїnka, Garna, Yarra, Aurika Rotaru, Olena Topolia, Marta Adamchuk, Olya Tsybulskaya, and Yevhen Rybychynskyi. They delivered beloved songs including 'My Native Land', 'The Day Passes, The Night Passes', 'Gorytsvit', 'For Happiness, For Fate', 'Mother's Love', 'Spring Song', 'Carpathian Flowers', and 'Autumn Nocturne'.

At the beginning of the concert, Tayanna performed the song 'My Native Land', which became a symbol of the evening. As the event approached its conclusion, this composition was played instrumentally by the NAONI ensemble, accompanied by the friendly singing of the entire audience, creating an atmosphere of unity and shared emotion.

The song 'When We Are Together', performed by singer Garna, was dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine who did not return home, as well as to those who awaited them. This poignant moment stirred deep emotions among all attendees, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of memory and honoring heroes.

Yevhen Rybychynskyi, who also participated in the concert, shared an intriguing story about the creation of the song 'The Day Passes, The Night Passes'. This song was written several decades ago by his father Yuriy Rybychynskyi and Mykola Mozhovyi near the Bessarabian Market in Kyiv, adding a special touch to the performance.

The grand finale of the concert featured a performance by David Axelrod alongside the Academic Ensemble of the National Guard of Ukraine, during which the song 'Defenders' was performed in tribute to Ukrainian warriors.
