On Sunday, April 5, Catholics around the world celebrated Easter, and this year, King Charles III of the United Kingdom, along with Queen Camilla, led the royal family in a traditional Easter service held at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. The service took place in the historic 15th-century chapel located in Berkshire, where the King and Queen were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as their three children: 12-year-old Prince George, 10-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 7-year-old Prince Louis. This event has become an important part of the royal family's Easter celebrations, which traditionally involve participation in such events.

Among those present at the service were Princess Anne, who attended with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh and his son, 18-year-old Earl of Wessex, James. However, the Easter service was notably absent of the controversial Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been in the spotlight due to his connections with convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein, as well as his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.

Also in attendance was Princess Anne's son, Peter Phillips, along with his fiancée, Harriet Spencer. It is known that 48-year-old Peter Phillips and 45-year-old Harriet Spencer are planning to marry on June 6 in a private ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble.

According to The Daily Mail, King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived at the service in a state Bentley. Queen Camilla was dressed in an elegant red wool crepe dress designed by Fiona Clare, complemented by a hat from Philip Treacy adorned with a brooch that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Members of the royal family were greeted by subjects who gathered near the chapel.

Prince William, who was also present at the service, eagerly awaited the arrival of King Charles and Queen Camilla. It is noteworthy that the Prince and Princess of Wales missed last year's Easter service as they spent the weekend with their children in Norfolk. They also were not present at the service in 2024, which occurred just a week after an emotional video address from Princess Kate, in which she announced the start of a course of preventive chemotherapy.

This traditional service has become an important event for the royal family, which continues to maintain a connection with religious traditions and celebrations that are an integral part of British culture.
