Commander of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces Highlights Successful Operations

In a recent interview with the Ukrinform news agency, Major General Apostol, the commander of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces, shared insights into the most successful operations conducted by his units, emphasizing their critical role in stabilizing frontline areas.

Major General Apostol, the commander of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces, recently provided an in-depth interview to the Ukrinform news agency, where he discussed the most successful operations carried out by his units. Among these, he highlighted the defense of the city of Voznesensk, as well as offensive actions undertaken in Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kursk, and the directions of Dobropillya and Oleksandrivka. According to the commander, a significant achievement has been the stabilization of critical frontline areas where Air Assault Forces brigades are currently fulfilling their missions.

General Apostol emphasized that one of the greatest accomplishments for any military commander is the confidence in the actions of their subordinate units. He noted that when a senior commander has a brigade or an Air Assault Forces unit under their command, they can be assured of their actions, which in turn allows for the effective execution of assigned tasks. It is crucial that all military personnel have access to reliable information, which is critically important for the successful completion of missions.

The commander also addressed the issue of ensuring that Air Assault Forces units are adequately supplied with everything necessary to carry out combat tasks. He stated that they receive what is needed; however, he pointed out some challenges regarding weaponry. “As for the weapons, I would like them to be better, but we are largely dependent on our partners,” the general remarked. He also stressed that the enemy faces similar issues with armaments, which could influence the overall situation on the front lines.

According to Apostol, if certain weaponry is not available, it will not be provided. This issue undoubtedly requires attention, as modern warfare demands cutting-edge technologies and effective weaponry to achieve success on the battlefield.

Furthermore, the general reported that in the Oleksandrivka direction, Air Assault Forces units have already liberated 11 settlements, where currently no civilians remain. This indicates active combat operations and the efforts of Ukrainian military personnel in liberating territories from occupiers.

Images illustrating the work of the Air Assault Forces were provided by the Command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These efforts are part of a broader strategy aimed at restoring control over territories that have been seized by aggressors.

It is important to note that Ukrainian military forces continue to receive support from international partners, which is a vital factor for the successful execution of combat tasks. The situation on the front remains tense, and each day brings new challenges for the Ukrainian military.
