His last club was Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic, where he played his final season.
Wanyama achieved significant success during his time with Celtic, where he was a two-time Scottish champion and also lifted the Scottish Cup once. Following his successful stint in Scotland, he moved to English club Southampton before joining Tottenham, where he was part of the squad that reached the UEFA Champions League final in the 2018/19 season, although they ultimately lost 0-2.
