Palm Springs International Film Festival Announces Call for Entries

The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) has announced the commencement of its call for entries for its next event. This news was reported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema, emphasizing the importance of this festival on the world cinematic stage.

Set in the picturesque Coachella Valley at the foot of Mount San Jacinto in Southern California, the festival is renowned for its discerning and diverse audience. Attendees include industry representatives, film enthusiasts, and filmmakers themselves, making this event a crucial platform for exchanging experiences and ideas.

Eligible for participation are feature films with a runtime of at least 70 minutes. This includes both narrative and documentary films that are scheduled to premiere in 2026. This aspect is vital as the festival aims to showcase the freshest and most intriguing works from filmmakers that will soon grace the screens.

The deadline for early submissions, known as the Early Bird deadline, is set for June 6. This allows filmmakers the opportunity to prepare their works and submit them for consideration by the festival jury. Applications can be submitted by both emerging and established filmmakers eager to present their creations on an international level.
