Kellogg Proposes Alternative NATO Alliance Involving Ukraine

In a recent interview on Fox News, former advisor to President Donald Trump, Kellogg, expressed his opinion on the potential establishment of an alternative alliance that could serve as a replacement for NATO. According to him, this could be a prudent step considering the inefficiency and cowardice that he believes the organization has demonstrated during the conflict with Iran.

Kellogg noted that the United States might benefit from having new defense partners who would be willing to support them in military actions. "Perhaps we need to create a new NATO, a new defense structure," he emphasized, pointing out the necessity for changes in international defense alliances.

The general also highlighted Article 13 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which allows any country to withdraw from NATO one year after submitting a notice of denunciation. This underscores the possibility that countries may reconsider their participation in existing alliances if they deem it necessary.

Among the countries Kellogg proposed to establish a new alternative defense structure with, he singled out Japan, Australia, Germany, Poland, and Ukraine. He indicated that these nations could become reliable partners in the new alliance, as they are prepared to support military actions and have experience in cooperation.

"We should review existing defense alliances, possibly create a new one with Japan and Australia, as well as some European countries willing to join the fight, such as Germany or Poland. Even Ukraine, which has also proven its effectiveness as a good ally," Kellogg stressed, emphasizing the importance of collaborating with countries that are ready to support the United States in its efforts.

This statement from Kellogg comes against the backdrop of recent comments from President Donald Trump, who stated that he is seriously considering the possibility of the United States withdrawing from NATO. This occurred after allies did not support U.S. military actions against Iran, raising concerns about the future of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also weighed in on the matter, noting that Ukraine is negotiating with Middle Eastern countries regarding cooperation in the field of maritime drones and the unblocking of maritime routes. This indicates Ukraine's proactive stance on the international stage and its readiness to collaborate with new partners.

Thus, Kellogg's idea of creating an alternative defense alliance could represent a significant step in rethinking international relations and security, especially in light of contemporary global challenges.
