Israel Destroys Head of IRGC Intelligence Majid Khademi
Early this morning, reports surfaced regarding the death of Majid Khademi, the head of intelligence for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), following an operation attributed to Israeli forces.
According to information released by Al Jazeera, Majid Khademi, who held the position of head of intelligence for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been killed. IRGC representatives claimed that his death was the result of a "terrorist attack by the American-Zionist enemy." However, no additional details regarding the incident have been provided.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the information regarding Khademi's killing, stating that it occurred as a result of actions taken by the Israeli Air Force. As reported by The Jerusalem Post, Katz remarked: "Iranian leaders live with a sense of persecution. We will continue to hunt them down one by one."
Prior to his death, Majid Khademi was considered one of the three highest-ranking IRGC officials still alive. He had been serving as head of intelligence since June 2025, following the death of his predecessor during Israeli strikes as part of Operation 'Rising Lion.' This indicates that Khademi was a significant figure within Iran's military and intelligence structure.
Additionally, the IDF reported on Monday morning that a series of strikes had been conducted against Iranian regime targets in Tehran. It is noted that Khademi's death, along with other attacks on the Iranian global terror unit, aims to diminish the Iranian regime's ability to spread terror worldwide. The IDF emphasized that these actions could also reduce the Iranian authorities' capacity to suppress protesters if they take to the streets again in the future.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, Iran confirmed the death of Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the IRGC Navy. This information underscores the escalating situation in the region and the ongoing military actions between Israel and Iran.
