Iranian Military Responds to Trump's Threats, Promising 'Gates of Hell' for the US and Israel

Iran's military has issued a stern response to new threats from US President Donald Trump, who gave Tehran a 48-hour ultimatum regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials warned that further attacks on the country's infrastructure would open the 'gates of hell' for the US and Israel.

The Iranian military has sharply responded to the recent threats made by US President Donald Trump, who set a 48-hour deadline for Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz. In statements from Tehran, officials declared that if further attacks are launched against Iran's infrastructure, the 'gates of hell' would be opened for both the United States and Israel.

This information was reported by CNN, citing Commander Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters in Tehran, spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari, and Iranian state media.

General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi emphasized that if strikes against Iran continue, the 'gates of hell' would indeed open for the US and Israel. Another representative of Tehran's military command, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, warned that should hostilities escalate, the entire region would turn into a 'quagmire' for Iran's adversaries.

These statements came after Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum on April 4 for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The US President threatened Tehran with further strikes should they refuse, while also publicly increasing pressure on the Iranian leadership amid ongoing efforts to locate a missing American pilot and escalating military actions.

On the eve of these threats, Iran announced that it would allow ships carrying 'essential goods' to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This decision marked a significant step in the context of the escalating situation in the region.

On April 2, Bloomberg reported that a container ship owned by a French company successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz, marking the first European vessel to do so after Iran had blocked the strait. This development indicates a slight easing of tensions, yet the threat from the US remains a pressing concern.

On March 31, The Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump is prepared to conclude the war against Iran even if the currently blocked Strait of Hormuz is not fully reopened. This statement has raised alarms among international experts, who believe that further escalation of the conflict could lead to severe consequences for the entire region.

Thus, tensions between the US and Iran continue to rise, with both sides preparing for potential further actions. Military threats and diplomatic maneuvers have become part of a complex game, where each step could have far-reaching implications for stability in the region.
