Iran Accuses the United States of Violating Three Out of Ten Points of Its Framework Agreement

Iran's parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has accused the United States of breaching three out of ten points of a framework agreement concerning mutual ceasefire and other critical aspects. He detailed these accusations in a post on the social media platform X.

In a significant escalation of tensions between Iran and the United States, Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has publicly accused the U.S. of violating three key points of a framework agreement that aimed to establish a mutual ceasefire and address various critical issues. Ghalibaf made these allegations in a detailed post on the social media platform X, where he outlined his grievances against the American side.

Specifically, Ghalibaf pointed out that the United States has failed to uphold conditions related to the ceasefire in Lebanon. He also highlighted an incident involving a drone that allegedly penetrated Iranian airspace, particularly in the city of Lar. Furthermore, he emphasized that the American side denies Iran's right to enrich uranium, a crucial aspect for Tehran in the context of ongoing nuclear negotiations.

Ghalibaf stated, "Now the very 'working basis for negotiations' has been openly and clearly violated even before the negotiations began. Under such conditions, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations are unwarranted." These remarks underscore the seriousness of Iran's position in the realm of international relations and nuclear agreements.

It is important to recall that earlier, the United States, Israel, and Iran had agreed to a two-week mutual ceasefire, as well as the reopening of commercial shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz. This decision was viewed as a step toward reducing regional tensions; however, it now faces jeopardy due to the accusations leveled by Iran.

The situation in the region remains tense. On February 28 of this year, the U.S. and Israel carried out joint strikes against Iranian regime targets, which elicited a corresponding response from Tehran. Reports indicate that Iran retaliated by attacking American military bases located in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan.

These events highlight the complexity and multifaceted nature of the conflict in the region, where each action has the potential to trigger a new escalation of tensions. Iran continues to assert its rights regarding uranium enrichment, which remains one of the key issues in negotiations with the international community.

In light of these developments, it is essential to monitor the situation closely, as circumstances can change at any moment. Stay updated by joining our channels on Telegram, Instagram, and YouTube for the latest news and analysis on this pressing matter.
