Iran Responds Forcefully to Trump's Ultimatum Regarding the Strait of Hormuz

Iran is taking decisive measures in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's ultimatum, who threatened the country with 'hell' if it does not unblock the Strait of Hormuz within two days. This information was reported by the news agency DW, citing statements from Iranian officials.

The head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, responded to Trump's statement on social media platform X, saying, 'Iran will send you and your soldiers straight to the depths of hell - where you have always belonged.' This statement reflects Iran's determination to defend its national interests and not succumb to external pressure.

Furthermore, General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, a representative of Iran's top military command, also sharply criticized Trump. He noted, 'The aggressive and belligerent U.S. president, after a series of defeats, has taken the audacity to threaten Iranian infrastructure and assets in a helpless, nervous, unbalanced, and foolish manner.' These words underscore that Iran has no intention of tolerating threats from the U.S. and is prepared to retaliate.

General Aliabadi also warned that in the event of a new wave of strikes from the U.S., 'the gates of hell will open.' This remark implies that Iran is ready for active military action should its security be threatened. Such comments indicate an escalation of tensions between the two countries and the possibility of military conflict.

It is worth recalling that on April 4, Trump made a tough statement, threatening Iran with 'hell' if it does not unblock the Strait of Hormuz within two days. This strategic waterway is a crucial route for oil transportation, and its blockage could have severe consequences for the global economy.

Earlier, on March 23, Trump assured that the Strait of Hormuz would soon be unblocked and would be under joint control of the U.S. and Iran. However, in light of recent statements from Iranian officials, the situation remains tense, and further actions from both countries could lead to an escalation of the conflict.

This situation raises concerns not only in the region but also on the international stage, as any military confrontation between Iran and the U.S. could have serious implications for global security. In light of these events, it is crucial to monitor the ongoing developments and the response of the international community.
