Ukrainian Intelligence Neutralizes Last Russian Railway Ferry in the Kerch Strait

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR) has successfully executed an operation that incapacitated the Russian railway ferry 'Slavyanin'. This ferry, which remained the last one in the Kerch Strait, played a crucial role in supplying logistical resources to the Russian troops temporarily occupying Crimea.

According to information provided by HUR, the drone strike was carried out during the night of April 5 to 6, 2026. The report indicates that the operation was conducted by specialists from the Active Actions Department of the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The agency confirmed that the ferry 'Slavyanin' can no longer perform its functions, which will significantly complicate the logistics for Russian military forces in the region.
