Power Outage Schedules Return - When Will the Lights Go Out on Friday

On Friday, April 3, power outage schedules will be reintroduced across Ukraine, as announced by the state energy company Ukrenergo on its official Telegram channel.

On Friday, April 3, Ukraine will once again implement power outage schedules, according to a statement from the state energy company Ukrenergo shared on its official Telegram channel. The company indicated that from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, power limitation schedules will be applied across all regions of the country, specifically affecting industrial consumers. Additionally, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, hourly outage schedules will be in effect, impacting all categories of consumers.

The introduction of these restrictions is a direct response to the aftermath of recent Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. These attacks have significantly affected the stability of the energy system, prompting the energy company to take measures to prevent excessive loads on the network.

Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation within the energy system can change rapidly, and therefore, consumers are advised to closely monitor updates on the official pages of regional energy companies and other resources. This vigilance will ensure that they receive timely information regarding any potential changes in the outage schedules.

As reported earlier, due to a massive drone attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as of the morning of April 2, consumers in seven regions were left without power. These ongoing attacks continue to inflict damage on the country's energy system, necessitating actions from energy workers to ensure the stability of electricity supply.

In light of the constant threats posed by the aggressor, Ukrainians are forced to adapt to new realities, including the implementation of power outage schedules. It is crucial for all consumers to remain informed about possible changes in electricity supply to avoid disruptions in their daily lives.
