Hourly Power Outage Schedules to be Implemented for All Consumer Categories on Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM – Ukrenergo

On Friday, April 3, power limitation schedules will be introduced across all regions of Ukraine, affecting both industrial and residential consumers due to recent Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

On Friday, April 3, power limitation schedules (GLP) will be implemented in all regions of Ukraine for industrial consumers, lasting from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Additionally, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, hourly power outage schedules (GPO) will apply to all categories of consumers, including both residential and industrial electricity users.

According to the National Energy Company of Ukraine, Ukrenergo, the reason for these restrictions is the aftermath of recent Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities. These attacks have significantly impacted the stability of the energy system, necessitating measures to ensure the security of electricity supply.

Ukrenergo emphasizes the importance of adhering to the new outage schedules and urges consumers to remain vigilant regarding changes in the energy supply situation. They also recommend following the latest updates on the official pages of regional energy companies, as the situation within the energy system may evolve depending on the circumstances.

It is worth noting that on April 2, from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM, power limitation schedules were already applied for industrial consumers. This indicates a continuation of the challenging situation in the country's energy sector, driven by external factors, particularly military actions.

Ukraine's energy infrastructure continues to suffer significant damage due to aggression from Russia, leading to the need for emergency measures to maintain the stability of electricity supply. Authorities and energy companies are calling on the public for understanding and patience amid the restrictions being implemented to preserve the country's energy system.
