General Staff: 128 Combat Clashes Occurred at the Front Since Dawn

Since the beginning of April 7, a total of 128 combat clashes have been reported at the front, indicating a significant escalation in the conflict zone. The information was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the dawn of April 7, there have been 128 combat clashes reported at the front, highlighting a marked escalation in the conflict zone. According to information released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of these 128 encounters, 26 occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, 24 in the Pokrovsk direction, and 23 in the Huliaipole direction.

This information comes from a report published by the General Staff at 10:00 PM on the same day. The report states: "In total, since the beginning of this day, there have been 128 combat clashes. The enemy has carried out 43 airstrikes, dropping 145 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they have deployed 4,878 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,321 shellings of populated areas and the positions of our troops."

In terms of the situation at the front, in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled six Russian attacks. This demonstrates the active defensive efforts of Ukrainian military personnel, who are preventing the enemy from advancing further.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy made two attempts to storm the positions of Ukrainian units, but these attempts were also successfully repelled. In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders showcased their resilience by fending off five Russian assaults, underscoring their readiness to repel attacks.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers were able to thwart one attempt by the invaders to advance, while in the Sloviansk direction, they repelled seven assaults by the occupiers. This indicates that Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend their positions and do not allow the enemy to establish themselves in occupied territories.

The Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 26 enemy assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction, marking a significant achievement in the context of the current situation. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 24 attacks in an attempt to improve their positions, but to no avail.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers made ten attempts to enhance their position, but Ukrainian defenders did not give them any chance. In the Huliaipole direction, there were 23 enemy attacks, indicating the enemy's activity in this region.

Furthermore, in the Orikhiv direction, the Russian Federation carried out airstrikes in the area of the settlement of Tavriiske, raising concerns among the local population. In the Dniprovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted five assault actions towards the Antonivsk Bridge, demonstrating the high effectiveness of their operations.

Thus, the situation at the front remains tense, but Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend their territory and repel enemy attacks.
