FBU Secretary General: Agreement Reached for Mykhailiuk to Join in July

Volodymyr Drabikivskyi, the Secretary General of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine (FBU), has shared important news concerning the composition of the Ukrainian national basketball team for their future matches. According to Drabikivskyi, there is an agreement in place for Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk to join the team in July. Drabikivskyi pointed out that the situation surrounding Alex Len remains somewhat unclear. He expressed doubts regarding Len's participation, as Len has indicated that he is not opposed to playing but not at this moment. This raises certain concerns, as the national team requires all of its best players for a successful campaign in the qualification for the 2027 World Championship.

Regarding another player, Shulha, Drabikivskyi also expressed that his participation depends on the resolution of certain issues. Currently, Shulha is under a ban and cannot play for the national team until this problem is resolved. However, according to the FBU Secretary General, Shulha has a strong desire to play and is a very positive individual, which could serve as an additional motivation for his return to the team.
