Hot Frontline Directions and Diplomatic Strikes: Zelensky Receives Report from Syrsky and Hnatov

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently received a detailed report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, and Chief of the General Staff, Andriy Hnatov, focusing on the current situation at the front and strategic military directions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared insights on his Telegram channel regarding the outcomes of a report presented by Oleksandr Syrsky, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Andriy Hnatov, the Chief of the General Staff. The meeting highlighted key aspects of the frontline situation and strategic military directions, particularly focusing on the Alexandrivskyi and Pokrovskyi areas.

Zelensky emphasized that these areas are currently the epicenters of Russian military efforts, which necessitates a robust Ukrainian response. He expressed gratitude to all military units for their efforts and achievements in countering the occupiers. 'The report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov regarding the frontline situation and our operations was discussed. Firstly, we talked about the prospects in the Alexandrivskyi and Pokrovskyi directions. It is there that the largest efforts of the Russian army are concentrated, and correspondingly, our counteractions. I am grateful to all our units for their tangible results in striking the occupiers,' he wrote.

Additionally, the report addressed issues related to the so-called diplomatic strikes being carried out by Ukraine. Zelensky underscored that these long-range strikes are having a significant impact on reducing Russia's revenue, particularly in the oil sector. 'Ukrainian long-range sanctions are genuinely ensuring a reduction in Russian revenues, primarily from oil. This is felt both in the northeastern and southeastern directions of active long-range actions,' he noted.

The President also approved further steps with military command regarding Ukraine's planned actions. He highlighted the importance of maintaining strong positions on the front lines and in long-range capabilities, which in turn are intended to strengthen Ukraine's diplomatic positions and its relations with international partners. 'It is important that strong Ukrainian positions on the front and in long-range capabilities also work to enhance our positions in diplomacy and in various relationships with partners. That is exactly how it is happening. Ukraine is defending itself and demonstrating the ability to enhance the security of others,' Zelensky added.

It is worth noting that according to British MI6 intelligence, the situation at the front remains complex; however, experts indicate that it is the best for Ukraine in the last 10 months. This suggests positive changes in the context of military actions and the activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
