Servant of the People Faction to Discuss Ukraine's International Obligations Legislation – Arachamiya

The upcoming meeting of the Servant of the People faction, scheduled for Monday, will focus on critical issues related to voting on legislation concerning Ukraine's international obligations, as announced by faction leader David Arachamiya.

The meeting of the Servant of the People faction, planned for Monday, is set to address significant matters related to the voting on bills that pertain to Ukraine's international commitments. This announcement was made by faction leader David Arachamiya, who emphasized that the agenda will include legislation that is part of fulfilling obligations to international financial organizations, such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukraine Facility, World Bank, and others.

Arachamiya noted that the meeting will be entirely focused on these issues, as they are critical for numerous international payments essential for Ukraine's economic stability. "On Monday, we plan to hold a faction meeting. It will be dedicated to a week of voting on bills aimed at fulfilling international obligations," he stated in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency on Friday.

The faction leader also highlighted the necessity for Ukraine to take decisive actions to secure funding, as the delay of a €90 billion loan from the European Union, which has been blocked by Hungary, poses additional challenges. "We need to make a decisive step forward to obtain what is necessary for Ukraine," Arachamiya emphasized, underlining the importance of a swift response to this situation.

It is expected that Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, along with key ministers such as Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka, will participate in the faction meeting. All these individuals are crucial for discussing issues related to international obligations and financial support for Ukraine.

Arachamiya also added that a significant open discussion is planned within the faction, reflecting the seriousness of the approach to addressing these vital issues. Meeting participants intend to thoroughly examine all aspects of the bills that impact the financial situation in the country, as well as Ukraine's relations with international partners.

This initiative by the Servant of the People faction is part of a broader strategy aimed at ensuring the stability of Ukraine's economy amid the numerous challenges posed by the war and economic difficulties. It is vital for the legislative authority to act swiftly and effectively to support the country during this challenging time and ensure the fulfillment of international obligations.
