Farm Enterprise IY Wins Auction for State-Owned Enterprise Volodymyrske
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced the results of the auction for the privatization of the sole property complex of the state enterprise Volodymyrske, located in the village of Volodymyrivka, Mykolaiv region. The winner of the auction is Farm Enterprise IY, which offered 710,000 hryvnias for the privatization object.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has officially revealed the outcomes of the auction aimed at privatizing the unique property complex of the state enterprise Volodymyrske, situated in the village of Volodymyrivka in the Mykolaiv region. Farm Enterprise IY emerged as the successful bidder, proposing a total of 710,000 hryvnias for the privatization asset.
According to information published on the official website of ProZorro.Sales, the starting price for the agricultural enterprise was set at 505,704 hryvnias. This outcome indicates that Farm Enterprise IY was the sole participant in the auction, reflecting a low level of interest from other potential investors in this particular asset.
The ultimate beneficiaries of Farm Enterprise IY are Viktoriya and Dmytro Melikhov. The primary activities of the state enterprise Volodymyrske involve the production and sale of agricultural products, the cultivation of grain crops and grapes, as well as the production and sale of processed agricultural goods.
The privatization object comprises non-residential buildings and structures with a total area of 4,124.7 square meters. Additionally, the new owner will acquire 109 units of movable property, 10 vehicles, and 11 units of specialized equipment. The privatization object is situated on a land plot measuring 1.5103 hectares.
It is crucial to note that, according to the terms of sale, the buyer is obligated to ensure the settlement of salary debts and obligations to the budget within six months from the date of ownership transfer. Furthermore, the new owner is prohibited from dismissing employees at the initiative of the buyer or any authorized entity.
This auction represents another step in the ongoing privatization reform in Ukraine, which aims to attract investment into the public sector. Previously reported, LLC Company Oil-Transservice Group has also been actively participating in privatization auctions, offering 1.2 million hryvnias for the sole property complex of the state enterprise Chechelnytsky Distillery, located in the Vinnytsia region, as part of an online auction within the ProZorro.Sales system.
