Diesel Prices Surge by Over a Hryvnia: Fuel Costs at Gas Stations on April 2

On April 2, 2023, Ukraine is witnessing a significant increase in fuel prices, particularly diesel fuel, which has risen by more than one hryvnia, raising concerns among drivers and consumers.

On April 2, 2023, Ukraine is experiencing a notable rise in fuel prices, with diesel fuel increasing by more than one hryvnia, causing alarm among drivers and consumers alike. According to the portal minfin.com.ua, average fuel prices have reached levels that could significantly impact motorists' expenses.

Data shows that premium gasoline A-95 is priced at 75.56 UAH per liter, reflecting an increase of 13 kopecks. The price of A-95 gasoline has risen to 71.81 UAH per liter, also up by 13 kopecks. Meanwhile, A-92 gasoline has seen a price hike of 7 kopecks, now costing 66.46 UAH per liter. The most substantial price increase has been observed in diesel fuel, which has surged by 1.05 UAH, now priced at 86.87 UAH per liter. The average price of autogas has also risen, reaching 47.55 UAH per liter, which is 69 kopecks higher than the previous day.

At the gas station network of JSC “Ukrnafta,” fuel prices remain stable: A-95 gasoline is priced at 68.99 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 83.99 UAH per liter; and autogas at 46.99 UAH per liter. The U.GO network has similar pricing: A-95 gasoline at 68.99 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 83.99 UAH per liter; and autogas at 46.99 UAH per liter.

In the OKKO gas station network, fuel prices are as follows: A-95 gasoline at 75 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 89.9 UAH per liter; and autogas at 49 UAH per liter. The BRSM-Nafta network lists prices as: A-95 gasoline at 68.94 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 83.99 UAH per liter; and autogas at 46.01 UAH per liter. At the WOG network, prices are: A-95 gasoline at 74.99 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 89.89 UAH per liter; and autogas at 48.99 UAH per liter.

The BVS network offers the following prices: A-95 gasoline at 70.99 UAH per liter; diesel fuel at 85.99 UAH per liter; and autogas at 46.99 UAH per liter. It is important to note that on Wednesday, April 1, the average price of A-95 gasoline decreased by 3 kopecks to 71.68 UAH per liter, while the price of diesel fuel increased by 43 kopecks to 85.82 UAH per liter.

These changes in fuel pricing policies are causing concern among consumers, as rising prices may lead to increased transportation costs and impact other sectors of the economy. Drivers and entrepreneurs are already expressing fears that further increases in fuel prices could negatively affect their financial stability.
