Rain, Wet Snow, and Nighttime Frosts – Weather Forecast for the Next Three Days

In Ukraine, significant cooling is expected from April 7 to 9, accompanied by rain and wet snow. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (UHC), light to moderate precipitation and frosts on the ground and in the air are anticipated during this period.

According to the forecast, on April 7, nighttime temperatures will range from 1 to 7 degrees Celsius. In the western, northern, and central regions, ground frosts may occur in the range of 0 to 3 degrees. During the day, temperatures will rise to between 2 and 9 degrees, while in the southern part of the country, they may reach between 8 and 13 degrees. The wind will predominantly be northwestern, with speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second, and in western Ukraine, gusts may reach 15 to 20 meters per second.

In the capital, Kyiv, on April 7, there will be no precipitation at night, with temperatures ranging from 2 to 4 degrees. During the day, light rain is expected, and temperatures will rise to around 10 degrees, while the wind will remain northwestern, with speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second.

On April 8 and 9, Ukraine will again see light to moderate rain. In the east, northeast, and on the ground, frosts may be recorded down to -3 degrees. On Wednesday, April 8, nighttime temperatures will be between 2 and 5 degrees, while during the day, they will rise to between 8 and 11 degrees. On Thursday, April 9, nighttime temperatures will fluctuate from -3 to +2 degrees, with daytime temperatures expected to be between 5 and 9 degrees. The wind will continue to be northwestern, with speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second.

In Kyiv on April 8, light rain and wet snow may occur at night, with temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees. During the day, light rain is again forecasted, and temperatures will rise to around 10 degrees, with the wind remaining northwestern, at speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second.

On April 9, temperatures in the capital will drop even further: at night, there will be no significant precipitation, and temperatures may fall to 2 degrees below zero. During the day, light rain is expected in some areas, with temperatures rising to 7 degrees, and the wind will shift to the north, with speeds of 5 to 10 meters per second.

Thus, Ukrainians should prepare for changing weather conditions, particularly a drop in temperatures and possible precipitation, which may impact daily life and plans in the coming days.
