Man Stabs Two Military Personnel in Vinnytsia

On April 4, in Vinnytsia, during mobilization activities, a man launched an attack on military personnel from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCK and SP), injuring two of them with a knife. The incident took place while a notification group was performing their official duties, causing widespread public outcry.

According to information provided by the Vinnytsia Regional TCK, both injured military personnel were immediately transported to the hospital for medical assistance. One of them is currently in intensive care, with his condition assessed as moderate, while the other soldier is reported to be in satisfactory condition. Medical professionals are doing everything possible to stabilize their conditions and provide appropriate treatment.

Further investigations revealed that the attacker has been a violator of military registration since 2025. This raises additional questions regarding security and the monitoring of individuals associated with military service. Ukraine's Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, after monitoring the Uzhhorod TCK and SP, expressed concern regarding the conditions of detention at the center. He noted instances of unlawful detention, unsanitary conditions, and neglect of illnesses, all of which require urgent resolution. These issues point to systemic deficiencies in the organization of military centers, which demand attention from the state.
