Budanov Anticipates Arrival of Witkoff and Kushner in Kyiv After Easter

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, expressed hope that an American delegation, including U.S. Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, may visit Kyiv after April 12.

Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has expressed optimism regarding the potential visit of an American delegation to Kyiv following Easter, specifically after April 12. This information was shared in a comment to Bloomberg, as reported by 'European Truth'.

Budanov indicated that the delegation's visit could also involve Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. 'Kushner, Witkoff, Lindsey Graham – these are the individuals we are expecting. Who else will be there – we shall see,' he stated, emphasizing the significance of this visit for Ukraine.

The head of the Office of the President also highlighted that following the arrival of the American delegation, Ukraine might receive more substantial security guarantees. 'We have long defined what we want. I believe this will be realized soon. What happens next is another question. But regarding security guarantees, we have certainly made progress – we are already moving forward,' Budanov stressed.

Additionally, he reported that Ukraine has received requests from foreign allies regarding the cessation of regular airstrikes on Russian oil refineries. This request was made against the backdrop of soaring global oil and fuel prices, which have been exacerbated by the ongoing war in Iran.

It is noteworthy that just days prior, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited an American negotiating delegation to Kyiv. This invitation reflects Ukraine's intensified diplomatic efforts to ensure security and stability in the region.

Budanov also mentioned that in the coming days, Ukraine will incorporate responses to questions arising regarding the security guarantees from the United States into a developed document. This underscores the importance of Ukraine's cooperation with international partners in the security realm, particularly in light of the current geopolitical situation.
