Charity Initiative by Vivat — Supporting Soldiers: Every Book Purchased Helps Wounded Soldiers in Kharkiv Hospitals

From April 6 to May 6, 2026, a charity initiative organized by Vivat Publishing in collaboration with the BGV Charity Fund will launch in Ukraine, aimed at supporting soldiers receiving treatment in hospitals in the Kharkiv region. This initiative is designed not only to provide wounded soldiers with books but also to aid in their emotional recovery.

According to the organizers, anyone who purchases any book from Vivat Publishing at bookstores will automatically contribute to the fundraising effort. The essence of the initiative is that five hryvnias from each sold book will be allocated for the purchase of books for soldiers undergoing treatment. Thus, buyers not only receive a new book but also make a contribution to an important cause.

Additionally, customers will have the opportunity to buy any book at the Vivat bookstore and leave it in a special collection basket. After doing so, they will receive a bookmark with a discount for their next order, which further encourages participation in the charity initiative.

Julia Orlova, CEO of Vivat, stated: "We know how books can support during difficult times.
