Ukrainian Defender and Writer Pavlo Vyshebaba Proposes to His Beloved
Ukrainian defender and writer Pavlo Vyshebaba has shared joyful news on social media, announcing his engagement to fellow writer Anzhelika Kravets.
Pavlo Vyshebaba, a Ukrainian defender and author, recently took to social media to share a moment of personal joy, revealing that he has proposed to his beloved, fellow writer Anzhelika Kravets. This marks Vyshebaba's second marriage, and the couple has known each other for just three months.
The proposal took place in the presence of Vyshebaba's comrades, where he got down on one knee and asked for Anzhelika's hand in marriage. In a heartfelt account, he recounted the touching story of how they first met. Vyshebaba shared, "This is the moment. I am getting down on one knee with the engagement ring. I don’t know why I decided that she might say 'yes'; after all, we have only known each other for three months. Just recently, I was sitting in a basement near Pokrovsk when a cat came in, which I decided to name after a goat, and I wrote to Anzhelika about it. That’s how our dialogue began."
Vyshebaba went on to describe Anzhelika's life, noting that she had lived alone in a hamlet in the Ternopil region for five years, caring for 12 cats, seven dogs, four goats, and nine hens. He humorously reflected on the challenges of their first date, stating, "It was the most difficult date ever. I traveled by train, bus, car, and walked several kilometers through a snow-covered field. It was a date from which one could not escape, as the hamlet and all the surrounding roads quickly became buried in snow and were not cleared. We communicated at a distance every free minute we had. Sometimes you feel deeply and unequivocally that this is your person, and there’s no sense in dragging out time. So, when Anzhelika came to visit me again in the East, I proposed to her among my comrades from the Minotaur mortar battery," Vyshebaba shared, alongside a touching video featuring Anzhelika Kravets, who is also known as 'Robinson in the hamlet,' a model and ambassador for the Ukrainian village.
Pavlo Vyshebaba's engagement announcement has captured the hearts of many, as he shared images on Instagram showing the couple's happiness. The posts highlight the couple's connection and the joy surrounding their engagement, garnering numerous likes and comments from followers.
Previously, Vyshebaba was married to journalist Inna Teslenko from Mariupol. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed a daughter, Zoreslava, in 2016. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2022. Vyshebaba's new engagement marks a hopeful new chapter in his life, amidst the ongoing challenges faced by many in Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict.
This engagement not only signifies a personal milestone for Vyshebaba but also serves as a beacon of hope and resilience in a time when many are facing hardships. The couple's story resonates with many, illustrating that love can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances.
