From April 6 to 10, the vibrant city of Kyiv will come alive with a series of cultural events that are sure to engage both locals and tourists. The Culture Department of Interfax-Ukraine has curated a list of activities that should not be missed, including concerts by renowned artists, theatrical performances, and a festive Easter fair.

The first event on the agenda is the play 'Two Women,' featuring the People's Artist of Ukraine, Ada Rohovtseva. This performance will take place on April 6 and 7 at 6:00 PM at the 'Suzirya' Theater, located at 14B Yaroslaviv Val Street. The production tells a touching story about two women who find support in each other during a challenging period in their lives. This play was awarded the 'Kyiv Pectoral 2014' in the category of 'Best Chamber Performance.' Tickets for this event are priced at 700 hryvnias.

On April 7 at 6:00 PM, 'Kaminnyi Hospodar' will be staged at the Theater on Podil, situated at 20B Andriyivskyi Descent. This drama, created by Ivan Uryvskyi based on the work of Lesya Ukrainka, offers a contemporary interpretation of the classic tale of Don Juan, Donna Anna, and the Commander, exploring themes of passion, freedom, and personal choice. Ticket prices can be confirmed directly at the theater's box office.

On April 9 at 6:00 PM, the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater, located at 53/3 Velyka Vasylkivska Street, will present the rock opera 'Bila Vorona,' which reinterprets the story of Joan of Arc. This performance combines grand music, drama, and modern meanings that resonate with contemporary realities. Ticket prices should also be verified at the theater's box office.

On April 10 at 6:00 PM, the Pochayna Event Hall, located in the Gorodok Gallery shopping center at 23 Stepan Bandera Street, will host a musical-theatrical event by the Lviv Academic Center 'Word and Voice,' led by Natalia Polovynka. The program will feature ancient folk songs from all regions of Ukraine, intertwined with video art. Tickets for this event start at 650 hryvnias.

In addition to theatrical performances, several exhibitions will also take place in Kyiv. One of the highlights is the anniversary exhibition of Ivan Marchuk titled 'I Shook This World,' which will run until May 12 at the Museum of the History of Kyiv, located at 7 Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street. This exhibition, dedicated to the artist's 90th birthday, is one of the largest retrospectives in recent years, featuring nearly 250 works ranging from early student pieces to philosophical cycles. This project, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, brings together works by artists such as Maria Prymachenko, Lyudmila Zhogol, Oleg Mashkevich, and contemporary artists who interpret this tragedy through painting, textiles, sculpture, and enamel. The exhibition 'Code of Freedom' will open until April 12 at the Goldens Auction House, located at 4 Pervomaiskoho Street. It combines contemporary paintings by Nina Fedotova, vintage postcards from the collection of Petro Yakovenko, and thematic installations, with a central image of a hen symbolizing life, fertility, and rebirth. On April 10 at 7:00 PM at ORIGIN STAGE, located at 16A Shota Rustaveli Street, former Go_A band soloist Kateryna Pavlenko will present her solo project Monokate. The program will feature songs from her debut album 'Half of Me,' which has already been showcased at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in the Netherlands.

On April 8 at 7:00 PM at ORIGIN STAGE, a special program 'Yurcash' by Yurko Yurchenko will take place, marking his first major concert in Kyiv in 30 years. The program will include songs that have not been heard live for a long time, new compositions, and a special concert narrative about love, war, and internal changes. Ticket prices start at 590 hryvnias.

The Easter fair will run from April 8 to 10 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Sports Palace, located at 1 Sportyvna Square. At the fair, visitors can purchase Easter decorations, festive baskets, kulich (Easter bread), sweets, farm products, clothing, accessories, handmade items, and household goods. Admission to the fair is free.

On April 8 starting at 10:00 AM, the InterContinental Kyiv hotel, located at 2A Velyka Zhytomyrska Street, will host a forum for leaders in corporate communications, media, and business. The program includes discussions on trends in brand communications, AI transformation, social business initiatives during wartime, and the 'Reputation Activists' awards ceremony. Finally, on April 6 at 7:30 PM at 'Bochka Pub,' located at 19A Khreshchatyk Street, the 'Darwin Award' show will take place—a comedic blitz quiz where stand-up comedians will compete in wit, logic, and irony. The ticket price is 250 hryvnias. On April 9 at 7:30 PM at F-Bar, located at 25/12 Khoriva Street, a comedy show titled 'Qualification. Neurosurgeon' will feature four comedians testing the professionalism of a guest neurosurgeon through a series of provocative questions. Ticket prices will range from 250 to 350 hryvnias.
