A Russian strike on Merefa in Kharkiv region killed four people and injured 16, regional authorities said on Monday, May 4.
Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said the victims include two men aged 50 and 63, and two women aged 41 and 52.

The attack caused fires, including in a private house and a vehicle, which have since been extinguished.
Authorities reported damage to private and apartment buildings, four shops, and a service station. Emergency crews and other services remain at the scene, continuing response and recovery efforts.
