Russian forces carried out a targeted drone attack on the home of Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov, using a control modem to guide the strike, as reported Wednesday in an interview with Vot Tak .

He is currently hospitalized with a broken leg and a head injury, according to the report.
Speaking from the hospital, Beskrestnov said Ukrainian military and law-enforcement authorities analyzed the attack and concluded it was a deliberate, targeted strike.
Wreckage recovered at the site included a remote-controlled modem, a jet engine, and serial numbers indicating Russia military use. One of the drones carried only a camera, suggesting it was used for target confirmation.
“Five rocket “Shaheds” flew for one target - to me,” Beskrestnov said, adding that several drones were intercepted before reaching his home, while one struck the building and another fell nearby.
Beskrestnov said there were no military facilities at the location and that the house was a private residence where he lived with his family. Three vehicles were destroyed in the attack, and all personal equipment, including radio and communications gear, was lost.
Despite the injuries, Beskrestnov intends to return to his work after recovery, warning that targeting individuals deep behind the front line could have consequences.
