The building of the wind power plant reached its final construction phase – the installation of turbines. Interpipe’s products were used to build the docking systems on the turbine foundations, which are already in place, allowing maintenance boats to moor safely. The UK-based project is scheduled to launch between late 2026 and early 2027 and is expected to generate at least 1.4 GWh of power, Interpipe stated in the press release . This output will be enough to supply electricity to more than 1.3 million households. The specialized pipes for these offshore projects were manufactured to strict specifications for wall thickness and geometric precision, and to high resistance to saltwater corrosion. The supply became possible after Interpipe’s launch of extra-heavy pipe production last year to serve large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. These pipes are used for offshore wind farm piers, bridges, stadiums, and even hydraulic supports in mines. Over the last three years, the company’s R&D team introduced more than 250 new types of pipes to the market, focusing on high-tech products for the construction and energy sectors. According to the company’s website , Interpipe also shipped nearly 250 tons of seamless pipes for another offshore wind project located near Normandy, France. It involves 62 wind turbines. The pipes will similarly serve as the foundation for boat landing platforms. Once operational by the end of 2026, the French wind farm will provide green electricity to over 850,000 people. Interpipe is one of the leading global exporters and one of the top three manufacturers of seamless pipes in Europe. The company operates five plants in Ukraine, managing the entire production cycle from raw steel to finished products. In 2025, Interpipe sold 470,000 tons of pipes and 89,000 tons of railway products, which are sold globally under the KLW brand.
